Riding hard, Amy broke through branch after branch. After slamming into a particularly large and painful branch, she muttered, "Just how many branches are in these woods?" On the night of the abduction, Amy and Naiomi were sleeping peacefully. That is, until Naiomi was taken. It was the dead of night, but you couldn't tell weather the moon had just gone down or if it was midnight, as it was cloudy. When the man walked into the room, Amy turned on her side, hiding her from view, as if on instinct, as if she sensed the man was dangerous. As the man drew closer, Naiomi sprawled even farther out.
